Timothy Reather
Tim Reather is an Executive Vice President and Chief Pilot for United States Aviation, an international charter company with worldwide operating authority. As a professional pilot, Mr. Reather has accumulated more than 12,000 hours including nearly 3,000 hours as a flight instructor and has earned 12 type ratings in transport category aircraft and corporate jets. He has over 35 years of experience as an air carrier Director of Operations and Chief Pilot. He has held FAA Check Airman authority in numerous aircraft, is an air carrier flight and ground instructor, and continues to be involved in aviation education. Mr. Reather began his flying career while attending the University of Tulsa, taking lessons on weekends. Later, while a public school teacher he decided to make aviation his career and transitioned to flight and ground instructing full time. Mr. Reather received an undergraduate degree in education from the University of Tulsa and did graduate studies in aviation sciences at Oklahoma State University. He decided at age five that he wanted to be a pilot. As the son of a United States Air Force officer, he was exposed to military aviation during his formative years which no doubt heavily influenced his lifelong love of aviation. Timothy enjoys travel, the outdoors and serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. He lives in Broken Arrow, OK with his wife Tammy and their two youngest children.
